We have changed our Farm to Family Program to
better serve you!
The Health Shoppe is committed to bringing our customers the highest quality local foods possible. After months of
experimenting with the best way to do this we have put together this list of farmers that we have partnered with so
you have the opportunity to see where your food comes from before you order it. Some of the products are a
constant on our shelves (Simply Grazin' and Griggstown meats, Evans milk, Havenwood eggs, Mysty Mountain
maple syrup, Tassot honey...) but there are many others that these farmers offer that we do not carry on our
regularly. The Farm to Family program affords our customers the opportunity to special order different products
that these farmers offer.
All of these farms are unique in that they use sustainable farming techniques, and are all non-GMO. Links to the
farms and artisans that we work with can be found below where you can find more information about all of the
products they carry. Simply call or email us for any special requests and we will do our best to find a farmer who
can provide them for you. Orders can be placed anytime and we will call when it is ready for pick up (usually one
week).
For PRODUCE we suggest joining a local CSA or shopping at the farmer's markets. Honeybrook CSA delivers
shares to the Health Shoppe every Sunday during the growing season.
Credit card numbers MUST accompany all orders. Pick up locations are Morristown , Monclair, and Chester .

Griggstown Quail Farm - Princeton NJ
Started in 1973 by George Rude with 12 quail on two acres of land, Griggstown Quail Farm now raises chicken,
pheasants, quail, turkey, partridge and duck. All the birds are free-range and all natural, a standard George keeps to
this day. Available: Turkey, chicken, sausage, ground turkey, quail, pheasant, poussin,
duck breast
Simply Grazin' Organic Farm - Skillman, NJ
We are a 220 acre family owned and operated farm who believe in allowing animals to do exactly what God intended
them to do — graze peacefully and grow naturally — with minimal interference from us. Cattle feed on organically
managed fields without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers. As a result of this, they grow at a normal rate, as
opposed to an accelerated rate such as when locked in a feed lot and fed only grain. Our cattle are never fed grain.
We are also Animal Welfare Approved. Available: Beef and Pork
Cooper Mill - Chester Township, NJ
Before the invention of steam and electric engines, people harnessed the forces of nature to power the mills that
ground wheat and other grains into flour. Frequently they settled in areas where fast flowing rivers provided a reliable
energy source. In the 1760s, one such person, Isaiah Younglove, began a flour mill at a site along the Black River in
the village of Chester. After many years and changes of ownership, the mill is now grinding flours for The Health
Shoppe from local/organic grains. Available: Buckwheat, wheat and corn flours.
Valley Shepherd Creamery - Long Valley, NJ
Valley Shepherd combines years of artisan cheese making expertise with modern equipment from around the world

Cherry Grove Farm - Lawrenceville, NJ
